  1. Where can i get ideas or do u have any on arranging and decor. large rectangular home office?

It has 2 desks, 1 comp station, printer station, filing cabinets on one side, and a couch, coffee table, bookcase, and tv on the other. It is a office for my home business, but is used by kids and husband, and requires alot of filing. I dont want to stick everything on the sides of the walls. ALSO it is above the garage, so the highest point for the ceiling is in the middle, more near the walls it slopes down. thanks

  2. I am remolding a unused bedroom for my husband so he can use it as a home office I need decorating ideas?

What colors would make a comfortable office decor? My husband is a computer geek-so ideas on decorating? The room is empty. the walls are white no flooring or lighting. I would like to do as much of it myself as cheap as possible. Easy do it yourself ideas for the walls would help. 3. Office decor ideas please?

We are moving to new offices and have a blank slate to do what we want. I need some ideas please! there is a website that is really good with ideas for the home http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/ is there anything similar for the office?

  4. I need home decor advice. Any ideas?

I've just moved into a new rented apartment and like it very much. Before we moved in, the landlord has spent a lot of money renovated the dining room and spent a lot of time on the wooden paneling. This paneling is not to my taste at all, in the rest of the house it is painted white which looks light and airy, but in this room it is a dark teak color. I want to make this room an office so I can work at home and want to soon buy some furniture. However, I am at a loss at how to decorate this room. Should I go for an Old-English style drawing room look complete with leather chesterfield sofa or would it look to good to contrast the old paneling with contemporary furniture which is more to my taste. I'm not an interior designer so don't have the vision. What do you reckon?

  5. Husband's home office - need decorating ideas!?

The walls are a nice blue and the trim is an off white. What sort of decor do you put in a home office?

  6. What is the best source for webmaster education and search engine optimization education that is affordable?

I have a new website at http://www.specialhomeproducts.com Check it out! I have many new home decor and office decor products, as well as great gift ideas for every special occasion....just need ideas as to how to market this without it costing an arm and a leg....am working on a limited budget. The idea is to MAKE money with it, NOT SPEND every dime I have just to get it marketed and ranked on the search engines. If anyone out there has resources for excellent internet marketing, that is reputable, NOT SCAMS, and is easy to understand for the beginner, let me know! I know amazon.com has several books you can get, such as "search engine optimization for dummies", or "keywords for dummies"...may have to go with that for now, to save on my expenses...already put TOO much into this project to give up on it....getting several hits a day to the site, but still no significant sales....any help I can get out there would be greatly appreciated. debs3

  9. Installing an interior knee half wall. Want ideas to finish out wall other than sheetrock?

I am installing an half wall or also known as a knee wall to seperate the living room from my home office. The walls are 4" high x 4 ft long leaving a 5 ft walkway between the 2 rooms. The 2x4 have already been nailed in placed to the hardwood floors and the the walls. I intend to attach balustrade/spindles to top of wall and ceiling then paint balustrade matching color. I have knotty pine paneling that has been stained when the house was built many years ago, along with the original hardwood floors that i just recently refinished and stained...so alot of wood. Any ideas of what i could finish the wall out in? Mu general decor is rustic and western with browns, burgandy, olive green, rot iron, barn tin on office wall, white stone, you get the picture? I just dont want to use sheetrock! BORING!

  14. Why would my wife's new office have a fold-out couch?

My wife was promoted in the past year to a large office at her law firm and her new furniture came in recently. She regularly puts in 12-hour days as an attorney, sometimes longer. She's also quoted in the local newspaper a lot (which makes me jealous of late, as I haven't been in the papers in awhile!). Part of her new decor includes a new-age looking sofa, that sort of folds out halfway for extra room. My wife said that she needs it for power naps, and, as a buxom woman, she does like her space (I'm considering separate beds, she moves around so much), and I take her for her word. We've been together since a young age and have been very loyal to each other. She probably chose that sofa because it's cool looking and very expensive (not our dime). Her private bath is also nice. In any case, while she does work 20 minutes away, shouldn't she take naps at home? This whole idea of power-napping seems strange to me, as I'm an artist with no set hours. Do any of your spouses do this? Well, that's why she's the boss! lol!

  15. What to get mom for mother's day?

My mom works very hard for my family. I have been out of the house for about 4 years now but my relationship with my mom has never been stronger. I want to get her something really special for Mother's Day but I don't have any ideas. I am not going to be home so it needs to be something that I can ship. She doesn't need anything, she has her office set up the way that she wants including decorations, all of her house is decorated and exactly the way that she wants it to be so no decor stuff. She doesn't watch movies basically ever. We love to go shopping together but she would get mad if I got her something like a gift card because I would be spending the money that I need to be saving on something that she could get herself. She loves to be outside in the sun and has a 32 foot boat that she and my dad spend lots of time on during the summer when they will spend thursday through tuesday on it. So maybe something for the boat? I am completely stuck with what to get her for mother's day. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks I can't get her money (goes along with goft cards) because she won't like that I got her something that she could have gotten herself and obviously if she has a 32 foot boat, she has enough of her own.

  16. Central Missouri Brides!?

I am a private floral designer who's specialty is wedding flowers and decor. I own my own home based business in Central Missouri and offer my brides a custom experience when using me as their wedding day florist. I have been in this business for 10 years. I am always trying to find new ways to serve my brides better and I have a couple questions. #1- Which would you be more in favor of, a florist who can meet with you in your office or a cafe on your time for no extra cost, or a florist that ownes a store front space that requires you to meet with them on their time? #2- What is your budgeted amount for flowers at your wedding? This helps me get a good idea of the average budget for weddings in my area! Thanks!
