I've got so many ideas and there are so many options for decorating. Have you seen anything that particularly stood out to you? The reception food at our wedding is in a marquee and the ceremony is in a large room with dark wood floors cream walls and an old fashioned fireplace. The wedding isn't super formal but not mega casual either and it's a summer wedding. It's not exactly themed but it's kind of old english garden tea party style. I'd like things that aren't too expensive or that I could maybe make myself any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

We are planning 1 ceremony at a full service chapel, reason being... I didn't want to worry about the details! Well, my fiance is from Central America & wants to have a "Blessing" ceremony at his church. I need to decorate a large room that has fold up chairs in it, a small stage & that's it. I don't want to spend alot since I've already spent alot on the other ceremony. In the room we'll be eating in, I will just have white tableclothes in the tables w/candles on each table & silk rose petals. It's basic,simple and pretty & cheap. But, the ceremony, I have no idea what to do that's inexpensive. Please send any good ideas! Thanks in advance. The blessing is in a church, but it's a new church that's just starting out. They don't have benches, just fold up chairs. They only have a few potted plants sitting around. We are having for sentimental reasons but are expected to have some sort of decorations. It will be a summer wedding.

I am getting married in July and am starting to think up decoration ideas/ceremony stuff for a Midsummer Night's Dream themed wedding. It's going to be a very informal wedding where my dress is calf length and the flower girls all wear fairy wings. My fiancee and I were in a production of Midsummer together in high school so it's a really magical theme for us. I'm looking for good, but not overwhelming ideas & have been having a hard time finding a decent website for ideas. Thanks for any info!

I have a tight budget, since where Im having my Ceremony and reception is a bit expensive. I want Red and White roses, but Not anything BIG. There will be about 70 guests at my wedding, nothing to big. The Ceremony is outside, Im not sure if they even allow decorations out there. But the reception is inside and they do allow decorations, just nothing on walls or the ceiling. Im not good with this sort of thing. I know my maid of honor will help me out. I'm gettin married in July. I'm having a church ceremony and a indoor reception. My wedding colors are cornflower blue and canary yellow and i'd also like to incorrporate guava (pinkish coral color) in there to break in up a bit. We are having a sort of English tea party garden party style wedding, the ceremony is inside (as it's in the UK it has to be) the house is not gigantic but it's a small country manor house and has a lot of the original items and features that were there when the family owned it from the late 1700's to now. I don't need to do lots of decoration in the house but would like to add a few weddingy touches for the ceremony room, which is painted cream with a dark wood floor. Has anyone got any hints, tips or ideas? Also any ideas for the table decorations would be great, our budget isn't huge and I'm quite creative so anything I could do myself would be good.

My husband and I got married last year at the Clerk of Courts. I have been wanting a "real" ceremony since then, with both my parents and his present this time. The problem is we can't afford to spend a lot of money on a location, and I have a lot of do-it-yourself ideas for the ceremony decorations. My backyard is too small, and I was hoping to set up my "altar" in a public park by a lake, or something like that, without having to spend too much money out of pocket for the location. Do I need need a special permit for that? How about at a beach? Can I just set up my stuff, have the ceremony and leave?... or do I need a permit for that too?

I JUST NEED A LITTLE MORE... we are having a private ceremony and later having a reception/after party but i want it to be set up like a real wedding reception. we are going to use a big hall and the colors are pink, red, and white. we are using a colonades with columns for decorations and i need more ideas for centerpieces.... we were thinking about keeping it simple and nice... such as a vase on each table with nice red , pink, and white roses in it and MAYBE with some pretty colorful gemstones at the bottom of the vase... we are also thinking about decorating each table with rose petals of all colors... PLS GIVE ME SOME MORE IDEAS FOR OTHER DECORATIONS... we are doing like balloons, the receptionist table, the gifts table, just want something special for the parents table... P.S.
