1. I need autumn home decoration tips?

   I have stone brackets on the front of my house. I've laid a wood board across it, so it acts like a shelf (I put a couple flower troughs on it this summer). I'd like to decorate it for autumn with anything from seasonal plants to pumpkins. Any ideas? I have 10 feet in length to work with.    I live in Santa Cruz, CA., the hippie capitol of the USA. I'd love to swap recipies, tips,techniqes, etc. I Love to decorate my hands and feet with henna tattoos and always get complements and/or inquiries of interest when I'm out and about.     My father-in-law passed away while I was engaged to my fiancee (now husband). So we moved in with my mother-in-law, into her biggg house, 2 years ago when we got married. It has been SO hard! It'd be different if I moved into my husband's house but I moved into HER house! So everything is hers and I have to abide by her rules. No shoes here...no food upstairs...ugly decorations ... etc. I don't even cook b/c I hate all the stuff she uses and she's always hovering over. I wish I had my own kitchen! On top of that, my husband has no job! He got laid off and has no idea what he wants to do with his life. So I don't want to be rude to my mother-in-law (cultural reasons) so I want to have her move into MY house - one me and my husband buy. But I have extremely bad credit and my salary is 55k. She won't settle for a small house b/c she likes having family stay with her and plus, big house means more space from her. I have NO financial literacy. Please help me figure out how to go about this process. I need to buy a house soon! This is getting so hard! I feel like a kid, not a married woman. It's my dream to decorate a house and buy furniture etc. When I have kids, I don't want them raised in a house like mother-in-laws under her rules and ways. I don't feel at home where I am. 15. best place to buy things for the home?

    My hubby and I got our first appartment together last may and have not really had the "money" to buy nice things for the house like curtains, tablecloth, home decorations, portraits, and just accent things to make your house a home. Everything we got is mostly our marriage gifts living room set, tv, all of our kitchen appliances, dinning table and some of the bathroom stuff. everything else we brought home from when we were single. 20. I just brought home my betta fish?

    So, I just brought home my Betta fish, Grover. He didn't want to eat, and he is just kinda swimming around then sitting in one spot. He is very bright in color and healthy-looking. He is in a 1.2 gallon aquarium with a silk plant, a little roman-looking decoration that is like 3 pillars with spaces to swim through, and a fish that sits at the bottom with its mouth open for him to hide in, and a thermometer that sits in the corner of the tank. The water is about 74-76 degrees F (can't quite read the thermometer right). Is that a good temperature? Im not sure if its normal for him to just sit around the first day? He is active and if I put my finger near him, on the outside of the tank of course, he swims away. So is he just nervous since he's in a new home? Also, If I take out one decoration and add a new one next time I clean the tank, will it stress him out? Thanks! Any tips, suggestions, etc. would be really appreciated!

23. christmas cookie baking party and service?

    this Christmas i want to have a few of my great friends (teen girls) over to make christmascookies, bunches of them, gingerbread, sugar, chocolate , and any holiday shape and decoration, we will have Christmas music playing, hot chocolate and apple cider,(ya know to set the mood) i would purchase inexpensive plates for everyone to take alot home to their families as well as put them in decorative bags with Bible verses and notes then deliever them to people including asisted living homes and those in need(teachers,pastors,family,) as an act of service i will probably ask for small donations towards the cost i don't want to do an exchange of recipes because i will make the dough before hand what do you think, opinions ideas please tips....thanks God Bless

    whenever I used to have parties, it seemed as if the guests weren’t enjoying themselves. What are some tips on how to entertain your guests while at your party? well, decorations are already a form of entertainment. You can also fill up balloons with varieties of colors. If you can afford one, you can have a singer come to your house and perform a song or two. If not, then put your favorite CD in the CD player, hook up your speakers, and your party will be outrageous! in order for a singer to arrive at your home, you need to contact him/her within 4-6 weeks of your party. Also, says that you need to have a limit on the number of guests you invite. Too many people may be tiring to clean up after and a small number of people don’t make the party exciting. Aunts, uncles, cousins, and further relatives are a must. So that’s all the time we have for our show. Thanks for coming on the show and we loved taking lessons on party planning tips

    I am planning on travelling to Mexico to purchase some wood carvings, paintings, ceramics and various decorations for my home. I heard that the best place to buy goods such as these was Guadalajara. I also heard that most of the goods sold in such places like Cancun and Puerto Vallarta to the tourists are all manufactured in Guadalajara. Does anyone know if this is true and if so, can you please tell me where some of the best deals to find such articles would be in Guadalajara i.e. shops , markets , etc. And and any other shopping tips that I can use.
