I have seen a number of beautiful Prayer Rugs for sale at antique stores, and I would love to buy one to use in my living room, but don't want to do so if it would be considered sacrilegious or disrespectful.    My boyfriend and I just moved into a new apartment and, to be honest, it's rather small. I want to make it more home-y and maybe put up some decorations.     When I was around 12 to 14 years old, I worked as a sales clerk/person who organizes the products when needed at my mom's home decoration store. So basically, I helped out around the store every weekend. Now, at 15, I'm asked to write a resume for my Careers course and I'm just wondering if I should put that under 'work experience' because although I did get paid the minimum wage for the work I did, it was with my parents and I was under-age. This is only an assignment and it's not like I'm letting some real employer see this, but I still don't want to list it as 'work experience' if it's going to either give a bad impression of my mom [for 'hiring' an underaged worker] or if it's going to end being 'incorrect information' [in which I'll lose marks on].

    This is kind of random, but I remember before Halloween that I was in one of those "only comes around once a year" Halloween decoration stores, and I was walking around and notice this girl is there with her mom and she's holding a ferret. Even though she was holding it, it had on a little leash and harness, but it still surprised me. It was absolutely adorable and made my day because I love love love ferrets, but it was like wow.
