   We had a fire and I'm repainting the house inside. So I have these colors of paint and just would like to do something different . 9. How can we comprise on the interior design of our home

   He is into earthy, muted color tones. Traditional furniture mixed with contemporary accents. I'm into 'Fiesta' type home. Think "Romantic, homey, Mexican restaurant" interior. Lots and lots of color. I like antique, wooden, old world looking furniture. How can we come to a comprise so that we can each be happy with how our home is decorated? Any ideas on how we could combine these opposite styles is appreciated.

    My friend needs to cover some ugly floral wallpaper to redecorate her room, but can't paint the wallpaper or put up paneling because the house is not hers. She wants to redecorate with a brown & blue lighthouse theme. Any ideas what we could do to hide the wallpaper? Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

11. Which home-study interior decorating/design should I choose?

    I'm interested in taking a home-study (preferably an online or web based) course in interior decorating or design and I've narrowed it down to three but I don't know which one to pick! one is offered by Penn Foster (www.pennfoster.edu/decorator/index.html), one by PCDI (www.pcdi.com/courses/hh/index.html) and the other one by Sheffield School of Interior design (www.shefield.edu). They are very similar and I'm trying to get a course that would actually teach me something about decorating and I'm afraid that I'll pay the money and end up with a gimmiky heap of rubbish!! I'm not very much concerned with accreditation as I live outside the US and I don't think I'll be looking for a job there as a decorator. I want a course that would be informative, fun and challanging while teaching me some worthwhile principles of interior decorating/design. If anyone has any idea about these courses, I would love to hear thier feedback on this.

12. where to get ideas on modern/contemporay design for home renovation?

    so im buying a house and will be renovating it. i like modern/contemporary design so will probably be overhauling the interior alot. now i just needs ideas; i went to both home depot and expo design center to see what they have and that was good. also looking on the websites of a couple of las vegas casinos that i am a fan of (TheHotel, Wynn, Belaggio, skylofts...) and that was good too. also checked out armani casa. anyone else have ideas as to where else to look for inspiration? many thanks

    that can provide me with working drawings and ideas over the interner. All what I should provide is the home drawings and plans, some real photos and my style preference. Do you know any companies that offer this service over the internet? Thanks. If for remodelling it is an issue due to different codes, what about the interior design? This would be easier I think.

    I decorated my room, and I absolutly loved doing it. I want to be an Interior Designer when I'm older. What can I do to prepare for doing that job (Besides collage,I'm 12)? I have "Punch! Super Home Suite" (The $40 one), I check out books from the library, and I love looking at matching furniture, pillows, valences, ect, ect. I just don't have anything else to decorate! I just moved, so I don't have many friends yet (And I'm homeschooled). My Mom won't let me re-decorate the rest of any part of the house. What CAN I decorate?! My room is complete, and I'm not changing it for quite a while. I'm so bored I'm figuring out what my house is going to be like when I grow up! Any ideas to what I can decorate? At the moment I can't use my right hand because it's broken. Also I cannot sketch worth poop. 5 stars to best answer!

    I am an interior designer and have a steady stream of old clients who are very loyal to me, and so far majority of the work that I get is through word of mouth. I want to attract new clients but am not sure quite how to go about it and what would be my best options to market/advertise myself. Plus as this is a small home run business budget is definitely an issue and I want to make the best use of the tiny amount I can afford to set aside. So would appreciate it if I can get any ideas to market/advertise a small home run interior design business on the lowest possible budget.

    hi all.. we have bought a three bedroom, hall, kitchen flat..the total area is 100 sq.m. the hall is rectangular..there is no separate living and dining rooms..that is, we need to arrange both in the hall..one bedroom is with attached toilet...the other two rooms are smaller ones.. we dont want to change the walls etc.since it needs permission from the govt. if you have some simple home decoration ideas please share..
